Artefacts from the glassworks and pottery site
Several sherds of Scraffito-type pottery that included an incised rim and base sherds from a bowl were identified amongst the pottery infill of the glassworks flue. When pieced together, the pattern of a sailing ship emerged (see the photograph below). The importance of this form of pottery has yet to be assessed.
