Guided Tour of Prestongrange
You haven't experienced Prestongrange until you've been on our new guided tour! Hear the stories, see the buildings and feel the historic importance of Prestongrange on this illustrated guided tour, led by our knowledgeable Museum Assistants. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and includes information about the Hoffman Kiln, Pottery and Glassworks area, Beam Engine, Powerhouse and the Visitor Centre. This tour truly brings Prestongrange to life! To go on a guided tour, just ask in our Visitor Centre, between 11.30am-3.30pm daily (Last tour at 3.30pm)

Take an audio tour using your mobile phone

The Museum is open between 11.30am and 4.30pm from April to October, but the site itself is open all day, all year round. Admission is free, and now with our mobile phone tour you can go on a guided walk around the historic Prestongrange site, even when the museum buildings are closed!
The audio tour is narrated by John Bellany, one of Scotland's most noted living artists, who was born in nearby Port Seton.
