Do you visit Prestongrange Museum or its Grounds?
Maybe you use our cafe, visit exhibitions, attend events or walk your dog?
We're looking for your help! We want to find out how people use the Prestongrange site at the moment, both the museum and its grounds. By understanding our audiences, we aim to provide improved services in the future.
Our Consultation process began in January 2011 and will continue throughout the year. There are a number of ways you can have your say:

Calling all workers and former residents of Prestongrange!

We are launching an appeal for members of the public to come forward who remember living or working at Prestongrange or who recall visiting family members at work or in homes at or near Prestongrange. We hope to record oral reminiscences in informal interviews which will be added to the audio tour and used to bring the site and its industrial past to life.

We'd love to meet as many people as possible who can tell interesting stories about the site.  It's such a quiet and tranquil place now we hope to capture a sense of it's atmosphere when it was a bustling hive of industry.  Hearing from miners and brick workers would be great but so would stories from people involved in office or support roles.  Families lived around the site so stories of playing or visiting would me much appreciated too.  We urge anyone with the slightest connection to come forward with help!!

If you’d like to be involved in this exciting project or would like more information please get in touch.
